This weekend I’ll be off to the heart of rural west Wales for the residential part of our Holistic Massage training course. The Ceridwen retreat centre looks idyllic. I really look forward to this weekend as the students deepen their knowledge of massage by learning deep-tissue techniques, connecting work and begin to discover their ‘professional practitioner voice’. This long weekend is particularly significant as it marks the ‘half-way point’ of their journey to becoming professional massage therapists. It’s also loads of fun, giving us the chance to get to know each other better and live as a community. Of course my role teaching students provides me with loads of inspiration to continue my work with clients at my clinic in Leominster. It’s a win-win situation that I particularly enjoy!
